Do I need a fishing license?

No. As a licensed charter captain, my license also covers you.

What will we be fishing for?

This depends on the type of trip you booked. We typically fish for red fish, sharks, Spanish mackerel, king mackerel, cobia, and jack cravelle. For more information check out our offshore fishing page.

Do you clean and pack the fish?

Yes. We conveniently clean and prepare your fish for you. The charter price also includes fish cleaning. However, it is customary to tip your deck hands 15-20% for all the work they do during the trip as well as after.

Do you have a restroom on the boat?

Yes. The Fish-Finder has a private restroom.

What kind of payment do you accept?

We accept most major credit cards as well as cash. Deposits are to be made using a card payment. You must also pay the remaining balance on the day of the trip with cash or card. A 4% surcharge is added to all card payments.

Is there a deposit required to book?

Yes. We require a $100 deposit when booking a trip. You can also choose to prepay for your trip at the time of deposit.

Do you have air conditioning?

Yes. The Fish-Finder has cold air conditioning inside the cabin.

What do you provide?

We provide your license, fishing gear, and bait. You should bring your own food, drinks, and personal items such as sunscreen, hat, shades, etc.
